Introduction and objectives Several modifiable factors influence brain health, yet data on them in the Argentine population remain scarce. This study aimed to describe these factors in a sample of Argentine adults. Materials and methods A descriptive study was conducted in 2,840 Argentine adults, assessed with a digital battery measuring physical activity (IPAQ), dietary habits (González et al. self-test), sleep quality (ISI), social support (Duke-UNC-11) and life satisfaction (SWLS). Mean age was 47.75 years (SD = 14.8; range 18-98), with a predominance of women (85.6%). Participants were drawn from all 24 jurisdictions of the country, with a higher concentration in Buenos Aires, Córdoba and Santa Fe, and representation of every region. Results 25% did not engage in sufficient physical activity, 14% reported unhealthy dietary habits, 11.9% presented clinical insomnia symptoms, 24% were dissatisfied with their life, and 23% perceived low social support. Conclusion A substantial proportion of participants presented modifiable risk factors, highlighting the need to strengthen brain health promotion strategies at the population level. Clinical relevance and contribution The findings identify priority areas for the promotion of protective brain health factors and provide a national baseline for brain health promotion in Argentina.
